Members of this community lent TIC the money to buy 817 Yonge Street without riba, as Qardh Hasanah. They asked for nothing but repayment. Donations to this appeal go towards paying them back.
Repaying the people who made this masjid possible.
For thirteen years TIC ran out of rented space. In December 2023 the community raised the funds to buy the building outright, through interest-free loans from individuals rather than a bank.
Those loans are an amanah. Every dollar given to this appeal goes towards repaying the people who made the purchase possible.
